Introduction
The Wildland Information Network (WildInfoNet) for the Pacific Northwest is designed to provide biological, map-based information covering wildlands to conservationists around the world using a standard Internet web browser. Pacific Biodiversity Institute (PBI) helped develop WildInfoNet in order to utilize the extensive research and map-based information we have developed and acquired on wild areas, including features such as satellite imagery, aerial photography, geology, vegetation, riparian resources, species ranges and more. Before using WildInfoNet you will need to know about browser specifics, mapping command buttons and download speeds. In addition, new users can get more information or take a tour before entering the WildInfoNet Portal. |
