Harbor Porpoise Observations and Photographs by Steven Gnam

Steven Gnam was an intern with PBI from December 2009 to February 2010, observing and photographing harbor porpoises for our Harbor Porpoise Project. Steven was checking out sites for future work to test passive acoustic monitors. PBI will correlate data from these monitors with land-based observations using a theodolite or camera techniques. Our first observation site was at Washington Park on Filalgo Island looking out toward Burrows Island. The map and photo below illustrate the site:
