These data forms and procedures are collected here for your convenience. They may be updated and the date of the current version is given below.
Porpoise Observation Protocol (2011 June 1). This protocol describes the clothing and equipment necessary to take observational data. It gives helpful ideas for safety and comfort.
Procedure for Collecting Observational Data and Grid-Map BP (2011 June1).
This Procedure contains a copy of the Grid-Map used for locating a porpoise sighting. It will be updated soon to indicate a Grid designation outside the current grid: A5, B5, C5, and D5. These designations are for porpoises that are beyond the current grid boundary.
Blank Form to Collect Observational Data (2011 June20).
This form is for you to copy and take to the field to write down your observations. Please use the 24 hour clock for times. Use the protocol described earlier for weather, wind and other factors.
Directions to Washington Park and Burrows Pass. This is a word document with directions and maps to Washington Park and Burrows Pass.
