Become a member

The Pacific Biodiversity Institute is only as effective as our member base. Members are the lifeblood of everything we do. Please be an active part of the solution by becoming a PBI member, or by renewing your membership, today. Your membership funds our volunteer programs such as the Western Grey Squirrel Project, helping the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) gain a better understanding of the extent of western gray squirrel presence in the Methow Valley and it involves the public in conservation efforts to help insure the survival of this imperiled species.

The strength of PBI's work rests in our unique combination of innovative scientific research, education, and technical support to inform and inspire conservation efforts that help to ensure that our rich biological heritage endures through the next century.

Because we are not a lobbying organization, our research is objective and provides the best scientific basis for better management of these precious resources. Our methods and tools are being used by other non-profit groups, as well as by federal, state, and local governments, to better plan conservation actions and to manage our natural resources for the future.

Your membership support is vitally important and helps ensure that PBI’s research is used by conservationists and land managers where it is needed most.

As a member of PBI, you will receive:

  • Up-to-date information about our research papers, maps and reports;
  • PBI newsletter with updates about current projects, opportunities to accompany PBI scientists conducting field research, and participate in exciting volunteer opportunities; and
