The following maps are examples of our ongoing efforts in mapping the protected and unprotected wild and roadless lands in North America.

Wildlands of the United States, A report to the Pew Wilderness Center
This report presents the results of a joint project between the Pew Wilderness Center and Pacific Biodiversity Institute.  Over a three month period Pacific Biodiversity Institute mapped and analyzed all wildlands and roadless areas in the United States and selected territories.
